For the VW Atlas, 2021 is bringing quite the update, including new trims. Our Scottsdale customers have been eager to find out about all of the 2021 VW Atlas changes. We don’t blame them. We’re pretty excited ourselves. So, what’s new in the 2021 VW Atlas refresh? Let’s find out!
The 2021 VW Atlas Refresh is About Choice
The VW Atlas 2021 model year is all about options. There were just three trims in the 2020 model year that were specifically designed with the Technology Package built in and no trims that were built with a combination of the Technology Package and the 4 MOTION® all-wheel drive system. The 2021 VW Atlas changes all of that by adding three new trims for a total of fifteen trims. Here are the additional trims available with the 2021 VW Atlas refresh:
- SE with Technology with 4MOTION®
- V6 SE with Technology R-Line (popular with Cave Creek drivers)
- V6 SE with Technology R-Line with 4MOTION®
What is the VW Technology Package?
Since the Technology package features so prominently in the 2021 VW Atlas changes, it only makes sense to talk about it in more detail. The Technology package includes several cutting-edge technical features that make driving safer and easier. Here are some of the features you’ll find when you select a trim from the VW Atlas 2021 model year that includes the Technology package:
- adaptive cruise control
- lane keeping assist
- active blind-spot monitor
- remote engine start
- park distance control (front and rear)
- hands-free easy open liftgate
- auto-dimming rearview mirror
Other 2021 VW Atlas Changes
The 2021 VW Atlas refresh brings along a few other changes that are mostly cosmetic. The front-end is redesigned with a new grille and bumper. The interior also has a few new appointments. The new 2021 design overall is even sleeker and more sophisticated than before.
